Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment approaches as appropriate
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding treatment goals and strategies

Required Qualifications

Active California Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders required
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred or eligibility required
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or similar clinical setting
Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment, including modified barium swallow studies
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
