Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in an acute care setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and progress
- Document patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Active California Speech Language Pathologist license
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment in an acute care environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
