Contract | Days (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) | 3 x 8-hour shifts | Expected 24 hours/week | Weekend rotation included | 8-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Participate in weekend rotation as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license valid in the state of California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is required
- Ability to commit to an 8-week contract assignment
- Availability for weekend rotation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an acute care or hospital setting
- Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary team collaboration skills
