Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Step Down Registered Nurse in St. Louis, MO. We are seeking dedicated and skilled RNs to provide exceptional patient care in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down unit. This contract position offers a supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients transitioning from intensive care to general medical care.
• Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias, manage and titrate cardiac drips, and handle chest tubes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications are mandatory.
• First-timers are accepted.
• Weekend shifts required every other weekend.
• Must be willing to float within the scope to meet facility needs.
• Pending license accepted; local candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility.
• Requests for time off (RTO) should not exceed 7 days during the 13-week contract.
