Required Qualifications: Certification(s) as applicable, current state licensure, minimum of 0 years of experience, location in or eligible to work in Texas
Additional Information: The unit features a 30-bed step-down setting with responsibilities including HFNC (High-Flow Nasal Cannula), BIPAP (Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure), management of stable GTT (Glucose Tolerance Test), and care for patients post-CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft), AVR (Aortic Valve Replacement), MVR (Mitral Valve Repair), AAA (Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm) repair, lobectomy, CEA (Carotid Endarterectomy), NSTEMI (Non-ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction), STEMI (ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction), ACS (Acute Coronary Syndrome), pacemaker management, sepsis, gastrointestinal bleed, post-DKA (Diabetic Ketoacidosis), respiratory failure, and tachy-arrhythmias. The unit often requires float to other critical care service lines.
