Job Summary

Registered Nurse (RN), Step Down Unit. This position provides care in a progressive care or medical-surgical/telemetry acute care setting based on clinical skills and organizational needs. The assignment requires travel experience, relevant step-down expertise, and flexibility to float within the established skill set.

Job Details

  • Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license; two years of progressive care unit or medical-surgical/telemetry acute care experience; travel experience; completion of the Registered Nurse (RN) Step Down Unit specialty examination and skills assessment.
  • Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 48 hours per week; every other weekend and every other holiday coverage may be required.
  • Assignment Details: Contract lengths of 13 to 26 weeks may be available. The professional may be assigned to a progressive care unit or medical-surgical/telemetry unit according to clinical skills and operational need. Float rotation within the established skill set may be required.
