Job Summary

Step Down Unit position for an acute-care nursing professional assigned to night shifts. The role supports patients with medical-surgical step-down needs, including telemetry monitoring and titratable drips. Weekend and holiday scheduling is required.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and at least 2 years of experience.
• Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., 12-hour shifts, 48 hours per week, with weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Additional Information: The role supports a 34-bed medical-surgical step-down and floor unit with patient ratios of 1:3 for step-down assignments and 1:56 for floor assignments. Responsibilities include caring for medical-surgical step-down patients, titrating drips, and reading and interpreting telemetry strips. Respiratory therapy support is available 24 hours a day, and ventilated patients may be present.
