Join a leading healthcare provider as a Step Down Registered Nurse in Hazard, KY. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a 34-bed Stepdown/PCU unit, where your skills and experience will make a significant impact on patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a Step Down/PCU setting.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5.
• Utilize Meditech EMR for patient documentation and management.
• Float within scope of practice as needed.
• Work every other weekend as part of the schedule.

Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of current experience in a Step Down/PCU unit.
• AHA BLS & AHA ACLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Valid Kentucky or compact nursing license is mandatory.
• Flu vaccine required; declinations not accepted. Medical and religious exemptions approved on a case-by-case basis.
• Resource must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered; locals not accepted.
• Valid driver’s license and ARH coversheet required in all submission packets.
• The address on the coversheet and driver's license should match.

Additional Information:

• Orientation is bi-weekly.
• Assignment confirmation needs to be signed within 24 hours of the offer.
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated.
• No RTO edits accepted once an offer has been made; no timecard edits accepted once the pay period closes.
