There will be an expectation to remain until after the event passes or to be part of the relief team. Specific details regarding pay will be communicated for each emergency event, as the impacts can vary. By signing the travel contract, the traveler agrees to report as assigned by the unit manager in the event of an emergency. Travelers should consider housing costs in the area before submitting their application.
