Job Title: Central Sterile Technician

Certifications: IAHCSMM/HSPA, CRCST, CSPDT
Must-Have:
- Experience with CensiTrac system
- Experience with sterilizers, Sterrad Machine, Ultrasonic (CaviWave, Medisafe, Belimed)
- Certified for a minimum of 2-3 years
Description:
Ensure traveler is aware of the following:
Upon accepting an assignment and starting the role, the unit manager may assign to an "Emergency Team."
There will be an expectation to stay until after the event passes or be part of the relief team.
Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each emergency event.
By signing the travel contract, acceptance of the above terms is confirmed.
Report as assigned by the immediate unit manager if an emergency event occurs.
Proceed only if comfortable with these expectations.
No first-time travelers; a trackable work history is required.
No cancellations in work history are accepted.
Complete additional checklist required and attach with submission.
Must possess experience with the following:
Sterilization procedures, biological indicators, chemical decontaminants, disinfectants, high-level disinfection (HLD), and proper instrument functionality check.
Familiarity with the three-sink method in decontamination is essential.
Knowledge of loaner/vendor processes is also required.
Candidates must be able to explain key sterilization parameters monitored on printouts.
A positive attitude towards teamwork is essential.
Candidates need to have experience in cleaning robotic instruments and maintaining decontamination protocols.
Flexible instrument handling skills are necessary.
Must have a minimum score of 3 on the skills checklist for all service types mentioned.
Current work experience in acute hospital or ambulatory surgery center settings is preferred.
Local travelers are not accepted; candidates must meet distance requirements.
References from previous supervisors may be required prior to clearance to start the contract.
Please be prepared to discuss any required certifications in detail during the interview.
