Contract | Days | Schedule varies, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM | On-call requirements apply
Key Responsibilities
Assist surgical team in the operating room across a range of surgical procedures
Prepare and maintain sterile field, instruments, and surgical supplies before, during, and after procedures
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and pass instruments and equipment as directed
Adhere to on-call requirements as part of the surgical team rotation
Meet holiday coverage expectations, including 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist within the specialty
AHA BLS certification required
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
Surgical Technologist certification through NBSTSA or NCCT preferred
Experience with a variety of surgical specialties and procedures
