Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Seasonal | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM | On-call required (weekends are call only)

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in a high-volume OR environment specializing in spine and total joint procedures, including ALIF, OLIF, DLIF, ACDF, ACDR, and total joint replacements
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, anticipate surgeon needs, and pass instruments throughout procedures
• Operate and maintain specialty equipment specific to spine and joint surgical cases
• Participate in on-call rotation with a 30-minute response time requirement; night call runs Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM (no overnight required)
• Document and chart accurately using the facility's EMR system (Meditech)
• Collaborate with charge RN, unit secretary, and surgical team across up to 8–11 rooms staffed daily

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of current hospital-based CST (Surgical Technologist) experience
• Active BLS certification required
• Active DORA (Colorado) and NBSTSA certifications required
• Demonstrated experience with large spinal fusions including ALIF, OLIF, DLIF, ACDF, and ACDR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Spine scrub experience in a dedicated spine OR setting
• Joint scrub experience including total joint replacement procedures
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Adaptable and flexible personality well-suited to a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment
