Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician- Fill prescriptions and non-sterile compounds under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
- Prepare IVs and prepackage medication according to standards and regulations
- Assist Pharmacist in final checking and packaging of prescriptions
- Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers
- Maintain good inventory practices, including receiving and rotating medications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and check equipment for safety and cleanliness
Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician- Strong packaging and filling work history, preferably with a retail pharmacy background
- Experience working under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
