This role involves performing and documenting 12 lead EKG tests as well as signal averaged EKGs within a fast-paced clinical environment. Ideal candidates must have 2+ years of recent experience and a strong ability to operate medical equipment efficiently during emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities of the EKG Technician

• Perform and document 12 lead EKG tests with and without rhythm strips
• Conduct signal averaged EKGs
• Respond to emergency calls and perform EKGs as requested
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Transport and operate EKG equipment efficiently

Requirements of the EKG Technician

• EKG Certification required
• 2+ years of recent EKG experience
• BLS required at the time of submission
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with medical staff and patients
• Ability to exert 50-100 pounds of force occasionally
