Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Tele Float position requiring 2 years of specialty experience and Epic charting proficiency.

Details

Acute care teaching hospital with Level III trauma designation
Tele Float unit with ability to work Med/Surg as needed
Patient ratio of 1:5
Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30)
Required to work every other weekend
No on-call responsibilities
Floating required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals to meet facility needs
Uses Epic (Excellian) charting system

Requirements

Active MN RN license required (pending license accepted)
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
Prior travel nursing experience required
Epic/Excellian charting experience required
1 supervisor reference required for consideration

Additional Information

Care for telemetry and med/surg patient populations with cardiac monitoring and emergency response needs
Navy blue scrub color required
Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered, as local candidates are not accepted for this position
Returning staff must have been separated from perm employment (staff or per diem) for at least 3 months prior to starting
RTO requests ideally should not exceed 5 days
