Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Telemetry Float Pool position requiring Epic experience and CA RN licensure.

Details

• Float Pool position within an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM, with 36 or 48-hour weekly options
• Epic EMR experience required
• One holiday off approved, with the traveler required to work the other designated holiday

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required from an approved vendor
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• No prior license disciplinary actions permitted

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care according to established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care across disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and develop care plans
• Implement care plans, evaluate outcomes, and promote a safe healing environment
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide education and support
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Required to complete all applicable vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates, with no radius restriction
