Job Summary

Registered Nurse Telemetry Medical Surgical Float. This position supports a float pool assignment with an assigned home unit and rotating day and night shifts. The role requires prior travel experience, Level I trauma experience, and the ability to provide care across relevant specialty areas.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week; day and night shifts, every other weekend, and holidays are required. One week during each four-week period will include three 8-hour shifts and one 12-hour shift.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse licensure; minimum of 2 years of related work experience; prior travel experience; Level I trauma experience; American Heart Association (AHA) cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; basic computer proficiency; ability to navigate web-based applications; electronic medical record experience; influenza vaccination, with medical exemptions accepted.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a teaching hospital and expertise in the applicable specialty area.
• Additional Information: This is a float pool position with an assigned home unit. Any color of scrubs is permitted.
