Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Telemetry, Chicago, IL. This position provides telemetry nursing care on night shifts in medical-surgical and telemetry units. The assignment requires clinical experience in medical-surgical/telemetry nursing, an Illinois Registered Nurse license, and current life-support certifications.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of medical-surgical/telemetry experience; Illinois Registered Nurse license; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel nursing experience preferred; 5 or more years of experience preferred.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information:
    • Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.
    • Holiday coverage is required as needed.
    • Floating may be required to other medical-surgical and telemetry units.
    • The first shift includes unit orientation.
    • Submission materials include a resume, skills checklist, two references, and active certifications and licensure.
