Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Telemetry Glenview, IL. The position provides care for boarded patients in the Emergency Department and may include floating to Medical-Surgical units based on operational needs. The assignment includes 12-hour day shifts, every-other-weekend coverage, and holiday coverage as needed.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m.7:30 p.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Illinois Registered Nurse license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; passing EKG test; minimum of 2 years of experience; temporary licenses accepted for candidates actively obtaining a permanent license with confirmation of application submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: 4 or more years of experience and Epic experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Provides care for boarded patients in the Emergency Department rather than Emergency Department patients.
  • May float to Medical-Surgical units when coverage is not needed in the Emergency Department.
  • Every-other-weekend coverage is required.
  • Holiday coverage is required as needed.
  • No on-call requirement.
  • Assignment length is 8 weeks.
