Job Summary:
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position in Reno, Nevada. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care to a diverse adult and geriatric population within a fast-paced, Level II Trauma Center environment. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient responses to various health conditions, ensuring high standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.

Job Details:

  • Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry
  • Location: 1155 Mill St, Reno, NV 89502
  • Schedule: 3 shifts per week, Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: NV RN license required prior to start; at least 2 years of telemetry experience; BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; ability to pass telemetry competency exam.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with treatment of CHF, Alcohol Withdrawal, NSTEMI's, sepsis, dysrhythmias, PNA, COPD, Covid, post-procedure care including pacemakers, ablations, cath lab, OHS patients, including medication management of cardiac drips.
  • Additional Information: Candidates may be required to float to intensive care units, medical-surgical units, or other departments based on organizational needs. Flexibility to work major holidays and additional shifts may be required. The facility operates in a high-volume, fast-paced environment serving a regional catchment area, including trauma, stroke, and pediatric patients. The RN will function in a multidisciplinary, patient-centered environment aimed at clinical excellence.
