Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 27-bed Telemetry unit operating under an RN/LVN team model with 9–10 patients per team
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data using bedside cardiac monitors and related equipment
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy using IV pumps
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with charge nurses, LVNs, and PCTs across night shift to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
• Float to other med/surg units as needed based on facility staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (or compact license) valid in the state of Texas
• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry nursing experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Availability to work at minimum every other weekend; scheduling based on greatest unit need

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Prior travel or contract nursing experience
• Positive, flexible, and adaptable personality with strong team-player mindset
