Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position, with a 3x12 day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:00.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have travel experience and be proficient in the Epic charting system. This role involves providing patient care to adults and geriatrics in a unit with 36 beds. The nurse will be expected to float to units of equal acuity as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care with a ratio of 1:6.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including central line and PICC line care.
• Utilize BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and administer oxygen as required.
• Monitor vital signs and chart using Epic.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including Respiratory Services and Pharmacy.
• Participate in rapid response and code teams when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license (state or compact).
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferred in a hospital setting.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
• Travel experience is preferred.
