Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift - Travel Contract

Schedule

This is a 3x12-hour day shift position (07:00 - 19:00).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel contract position. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of nursing experience, particularly in a hospital setting, and will be proficient in charting with Epic. Candidates with travel experience are preferred. This role requires floating to units of equal acuity and managing a patient ratio of 1:6.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality healthcare assistance to patients in accordance with established protocols.
Administer medications, perform wound care, and monitor patient conditions.
Utilize Epic for accurate charting and documentation.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including Physical Therapy and Respiratory Services.
Manage ports, IVs, and cardiac telemetry monitoring.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
Travel experience preferred.
Current RN license required (State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submission).
Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) are required.
