Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
• Support nursing leadership in ensuring high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
• Monitor and maintain competency of clinical staff on the unit
• Manage resources appropriately as they relate to patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan or compact eligibility
• Experience in telemetry or a related acute care nursing specialty
• Current BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a telemetry or progressive care unit (PCU) setting
• Experience with clinical staff supervision or charge nurse responsibilities
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
