Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry position requiring EKG proficiency and IL RN licensure.

Details

• MS/Tele unit handling boarded patients in the ED, not direct ED patients
• Float to other medical-surgical units as needed when not required in the ED
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 7p-7:30a
• Every-other weekend requirement
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required, 4+ years preferred
• EKG experience required and must pass EKG test for consideration
• Epic EMR experience required
• New grads not accepted

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry-level nursing care to boarded ED patients and medical-surgical patients when floated
