Job Summary

Telemetry travel position focused on caring for high-risk cardiology patients in an acute care setting. The role includes management of cardiac drips and care for post-procedural, post-operative, and other high-risk telemetry patients. Day shifts are scheduled for 36 hours per week, with weekend coverage every other weekend.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Schedule: Day shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with weekend coverage every other weekend.
• Additional Information: Patient ratios are 1:56. Clinical responsibilities include high-risk cardiology care, cardiac drip management, sheath removal, central line management, post-operative open-heart care, care of post-catheterization patients, chest tube management, noninvasive airway management, oxygen administration, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, tracheostomy care, procedural sedation monitoring, and wound care. Experience with mixed medical patients with underlying cardiac conditions is relevant. Floating within the applicable service line may be required.
