Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring an active CA RN license, EPIC experience, and phlebotomy skills.

Details

• Work in the Telemetry unit, with floating between two campuses and primary assignment to a 6th floor unit
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; CPI and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience required
• At least 1 year of full-time equivalent experience in telemetry within the past 2 years required
• EPIC EMR experience required and must be reflected in work history
• Phlebotomy and IV therapy skills required
• Two supervisor references required at time of application
• Prior travel nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Floating required between Orange and Irvine campuses
• Locals accepted at the same pay rate as travelers
• Previous permanent staff must have been separated for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler
• Maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract is highly preferred, with no RTO allowed within the first two weeks of the assignment
• Manager interview may or may not be conducted
