Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry position requiring at least 3 years of experience and an active IL RN license.

Details

• Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• First to float among staff
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of telemetry experience required, 3+ years preferred
• Epic EMR experience required and must be reflected in employment history
• Two current professional references from a Supervisor, Manager, or Charge nurse in the relevant specialty within the last year required
• At least one travel reference preferred

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry nursing care within a hospital unit
• Must work Thanksgiving Day and the Saturday following Thanksgiving
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Returning permanent or per diem staff must have a 12-month break in service to be considered as a traveler
• RTO limited to a maximum of 3 days for this 8-week contract
