Position Overview

This position requires a dedicated Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care. The role involves working with medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including those boarded in the emergency department.

Schedule Details

• Shift: 12 hours, nights, 7 PM - 7:30 AM
• Contract Length: 8 weeks
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: As needed

Job Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to telemetry patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Float to other medical-surgical units as needed if not required in the emergency department.
• Perform EKG monitoring and interpretation of telemetry data.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required; 4 years preferred.
• License/Certification: Must possess an Illinois RN license and BLS certification.
• Passing EKG test is required prior to submission.

Additional Requirements

• Must have experience with Epic electronic health record systems.
• New graduates are not accepted for this position.
