**Exciting Travel RN Opportunity: Med/Surg/Tele/Urology!** Join our dynamic healthcare team and embark on an unforgettable travel nursing adventure! As a Travel RN in our Med/Surg/Tele/Urology unit, you’ll have the opportunity to make a significant impact in patient care while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Manchester, NH. Experience a supportive and collaborative environment where every day brings new challenges and rewards. **Job Description:** - **Unit Details:** - Number of Beds: 48 (average census: 27) - Patient Ratios: 1:5 days; 1:6 nights - Staffing: 1 unit secretary from 7 AM to 11 PM; Patient Care Technicians with a ratio of 1:10-15 - Equipment: Hoyer lift, automated BP machines, bladder scanner, remote telemetry monitoring, vein finder - Documentation System: Altera/Allscripts Sunrise - Scheduling: Every other week (EOW), 12-hour shifts preferred - Floating Policy: Floats to similar MST units (D1, F2) - **Essential Skills and Qualifications:** - Must possess Med/Surg skillset including: - Head-to-toe assessments - Orthopedic care knowledge - IV medication administration (Lasix drip, heparin drip, IVP metoprolol, diltiazem, insulin IV or subQ) - Wound care (drain management, VACS) - NGT/G tube care and parenteral nutrition - Central line management (PICC, HD catheter, midlines) - Foley/nephrostomy/suprapubic catheter care - Ostomy care - Postoperative patient care - Required Certifications: - Active RN License - BLS Certification - **Work Environment:** - No specific uniform required; scrubs and closed-toe shoes (no crocs) permitted - Participate in daily Medical Decision Rounds (MDRs) on weekdays from 10:30-11:15 AM - Engage with a fantastic team atmosphere and take part in established UPC meetings monthly - Opportunity to work with new equipment, including blood pressure machines - **Why You’ll Love This Position:** - Exceptional employee retention rates - Collaborate with experienced staff and a close-knit team - Contribute to a culture focused on promoting patient care excellence **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
