Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Telemetry - Stepdown for a 13-week assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and MD or compact RN licensure.

Details

• 22-bed Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• 13-week assignment length
• Day shift schedule from 07:00-19:30
• Specialty float role requiring flexibility across the unit

Requirements

• Active RN license from the Maryland Board of Nursing or compact license required prior to start
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire (AHA or ARC accepted)
• ACLS preferred (AHA or ARC accepted)
• PALS preferred (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• US Social Security Number and US home address required
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Two professional references required

Additional Information

• Lead delivery of compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in alignment with safety standards and organizational excellence
• Coordinate a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless, holistic patient care
• Monitor and interpret patient conditions in real-time, communicating proactively with the medical team
• Initiate and manage comprehensive discharge planning to ensure safe patient transitions
• Accepts local candidates, though a radius rule applies that may reduce pay rate for candidates living within a certain distance of the facility
• Travelers should discuss assignment extensions with their manager at least 45 days before the end date
• Only one submission permitted per candidate across all Ascension positions system-wide
