Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Telemetry Stepdown position requiring a Maryland or compact RN license and 2 years of experience.

Details

• 22-bed Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• 13-week assignment with a 07:00-19:30 shift schedule
• Flexible workforce role supporting specialty float coverage

Requirements

• Active RN license from the Maryland Board of Nursing or compact license required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire (AHA or ARC accepted)
• ACLS and PALS certification preferred (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care in coordination with a multidisciplinary care team
• Monitor and interpret patient conditions, serving as liaison between patient and medical team
• Manage discharge planning to ensure safe patient transitions from hospital to home
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
