Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry/Stepdown RN with 2+ years of PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience for a 13-week assignment requiring WI or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Works in a Telemetry Unit within an acute care hospital setting
• May be placed on a PCU, Med-Surg, or Stepdown unit based on skill set and facility need
• Shift schedule is 07:00-19:30 with every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Uses Epic EMR
• Required to float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry acute care RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start required
• Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start required

Additional Information

• Provide acute care nursing to patients on a telemetry, PCU, or Med-Surg unit based on facility need
• Radius rule applies which may reduce pay rate for local candidates, though local candidates are accepted
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• COVID vaccination is not required
• Discuss contract extension with management approximately 45 days before assignment end date
