Job Requirements
- Active Wyoming RN license or compact/multi-state RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in Level 1 Nursery, Postpartum, OB/GYN, and L&D/LDRP care
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current NRP certification
- Current STABLE certification
- Current AWHONN certification
- Experience caring for antepartum, triage, labor and delivery, postpartum, and OB/GYN surgical patients preferred
- Ability to provide compassionate, adaptable care in a team-oriented healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care for women’s health patients across antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery settings
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with physicians and the care team
- Administer medications, collect specimens, perform clinical treatments, and monitor patient condition
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, and elimination needs
- Support cesarean sections by circulating and assisting as needed
- Attend deliveries and provide neonatal support following delivery
- Educate patients and families using clear, compassionate communication tailored to individual needs
- Float to other areas when needed as a helping hand or sitter based on census and unit needs
- Promote the physical and emotional well-being of patients while serving as a strong patient advocate
