• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,780 - $1,870

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the District of Columbia required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience required
• Previous travel nurse assignment experience required
• WOCN certification required
• BLS certification required
• Strong experience with wound care, ostomy care, and skin integrity management preferred
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, consult-based clinical environment
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and provide patient education

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage wound, ostomy, and pressure injury consults
• Support post-operative ostomy patients and patients with complex skin breakdown
• Provide evidence-based treatment recommendations and ongoing clinical follow-up
• Educate patients, families, and staff on wound prevention, care, and healing strategies
• Document assessments, interventions, and care plans accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and support services to promote optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in consult review, care coordination, and real-time patient education as needed
• Contribute to a patient-centered environment focused on quality, safety, and healing
