Travel X-Ray Tech - $2,600 per week in Milwaukee, WI

Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: General Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 1 year License: Wisconsin Radiologic Technologist License Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: Experience with fluoroscopy, trauma, general, OR, inpatient, and outpatient patients. Description: Level IV Trauma Center with a Level III NICU. Teaching hospital with 228 beds. Covid vaccine required. Care for pediatric patients, including neonates and NICU, through adulthood. Average daily census around 100 patients. Majority of work consists of general x-ray procedures including head, neck, spine, extremities, abdomen, hands, feet, and chest. Travelers typically do not perform OR or fluoroscopy cases. Manager/Supervisor oversees during the day with a Lead Tech available 24/7. Radiologist on-site reading during the day and offsite at night. Support from RT staff available 24/7. Rapid Response/Code Team present. Charting system includes EPIC and PACS: McKesson. Unit equipment includes Fuji, Siemens, and GE. Floating required with portables throughout the facility, prioritizing travelers. Weekend rotations depend on requisition needs, with potential to work every weekend. Approval of requests for time off to go through management. On-call schedule varies with a 30-minute response time. If a holiday falls on a scheduled shift, the expectation is to work. Typically, there will be a set schedule. Scrub color should be professional, avoiding denim or camo.
