Backed by experienced leadership, a robust project pipeline, and a collaborative culture, they offer Traveling Superintendents the opportunity to build long-term careers while working on high-profile retail projects for nationally recognized brands.Job DescriptionLead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout.Manage subcontractors, schedules, safety programs, and quality control efforts.Coordinate daily field operations to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.Maintain strong relationships with clients, project managers, and trade partners.Conduct project meetings and provide regular progress updates to leadership.Ensure compliance with all company safety standards and regulatory requirements.Drive successful execution of retail remodels, expansions, open-store renovations, and ground-up developmentsThe Successful ApplicantA successful Traveling Superintendent should have:Proven experience as a Superintendent within commercial construction.Can be based anywhere in the southeastStrong construction experience, including big box remodel and or ground-up constructionExperience managing projects typically valued between $3 million and $10 million.Exposure to projects for national retail brands and large-format retail environments.Ability and willingness to travel throughout assigned regions, including the Southeast, Midwest, or Northeast.Excellent leadership, scheduling, communication, and subcontractor management skills.Strong understanding of safety, project sequencing, and quality control.Proficiency with construction scheduling and project management software.What's on OfferBase Salary: Up to $150,000 depending on experience.Profit-sharing program.100% employer-paid healthcare coverage.Fully paid dental and vision coverage.Per diem package.Vehicle allowance.401(k) program.Opportunity to work with a financially stable contractor generating approximately $200M in annual revenue.Long-term career progression with an organization focused on growth and leadership development.Consistent project pipeline designed to keep Traveling Superintendents working predominantly within their respective regions.Interested?
