Job Description
Traveling Superintendent
Lead all on-site construction operations from mobilization through project completion. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and daily field activities. Maintain project schedules and proactively address potential delays. Enforce site safety standards and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Monitor workmanship and quality control throughout all project phases. Conduct subcontractor meetings and coordinate field logistics. Collaborate with project managers, owners, architects, and consultants. Manage project documentation, daily reports, punch lists, and closeout activities. Travel as required to support projects across multiple geographic regions.

A successful Traveling Superintendent should have: experience serving as a Superintendent on commercial or light industrial construction projects. A strong background managing ground-up construction projects through completion. Proven ability to coordinate multiple trades and maintain project schedules. Knowledge of construction safety practices, quality control, and field operations. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability and willingness to travel extensively for project assignments. Experience with warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, transportation, service facility, or related commercial projects is an advantage. Proficiency with construction reporting and project documentation systems is beneficial.
