Traverse/Slitter Machine Operator – 2nd Shift

Nesco Resource is now hiring a 2nd Shift Traverse/Slitter Machine Operator for a local client in Lenoir, NC.

We are looking for candidates with machine operating or manufacturing experience, preferably with experience operating Traverse, Slitter, or similar production machinery.

Job Description and Requirements

• Operate Traverse and Slitter machinery safely and efficiently

• Set up, monitor, and operate production equipment to meet daily production requirements

• Inspect materials and finished products for defects and ensure quality standards are met

• Monitor machine performance and report equipment or production issues to the supervisor

• Maintain accurate production logs and documentation

• Perform basic machine adjustments as needed

• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Previous machine operator, Traverse, Slitter, or similar manufacturing experience is preferred

• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment

Pay: $18.00/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift
Hours: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
