Treasury Analyst

• Location: White Plains, NY
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7.5-hour workday; hybrid with a minimum of 3 days on-site, up to fully on-site based on business needs

Position Overview

• Assist with managing cash flow, liquidity, financial risk, and investment returns while supporting sufficient funding for operations.
• Support the implementation of a new Treasury Management System (TMS) within S4Hana.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day cash management, including daily transactions, forecasting cash requirements, account monitoring and reconciliation, and electronic payments.
• Participate in TMS implementation within S4Hana, test calculations and system accuracy, evaluate potential impacts, and make recommendations.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting related to areas such as liquidity, cash flow variances, and bank fees.
• Collaborate with other departments to address financial and business challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Business, or the equivalent required.
• Cash management skills and knowledge of TMS platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Kyriba, S4Hana, Geneva, SAP, and other computer applications and file organization procedures.
• Utility experience with an understanding of corporate finance and governmental regulations and requirements preferred.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to meet project deadlines.
• Ability to organize data, report findings logically and effectively, and adapt to rapidly changing environments.
• Basic-level ability to use PivotTables, tables, and database formulas in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of MS Access, SAP BI, NYISO DSS, and/or Tableau preferred; MS Visio knowledge is desirable.
