Treasury Manager

Location: La Plata, MD | Hybrid: Tuesday & Thursday in office 

About the Role

The Treasury Manager oversees daily treasury operations, cash and liquidity management, banking activities, and treasury reporting and forecasting. This role provides insight into the company’s liquidity position, supports cash and investment decisions, maintains strong treasury controls, and partners closely with Accounting, FP&A, business leaders, and banking partners. The role also directly manages one Treasury Staff Accountant.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Oversee cash positioning, liquidity monitoring, forecasting, and weekly cash activity.
• Develop and enhance treasury reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and rolling cash forecasts.
• Partner with FP&A, Accounting, Development, and business stakeholders to incorporate cash flow, capital, and financing needs into forecasts.
• Support investment planning and monitor debt covenants, liquidity requirements, and banking agreements.
• Manage banking relationships, account access, banking fees, and operational activities.
• Review cash, debt, interest, reconciliations, and treasury-related transactions to support month-end close and audits.
• Maintain strong internal controls, policies, and procedures around cash and banking activity.
• Identify opportunities to improve treasury processes, systems, reporting, and cash visibility.
• Lead and develop the Treasury Staff Accountant through coaching, prioritization, and technical guidance.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in treasury, cash management, or accounting.
• Experience with cash activity, bank reconciliations, treasury controls, and audit requirements.
• Previous management experience strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel and ERP/system skills; experience with PDI and banking platforms is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a SOX or audit-supported environment is a plus.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with Tuesday–Thursday in office and Monday/Friday remote. Occasional after-hours work and travel may be required.
