Treating Operator

We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused Treating Operator to join our team!

The Treating Operator is responsible for operating equipment used to pressure-treat lumber and ensuring products meet quality standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operate treating equipment used for vacuum and pressure impregnation

Test and adjust treating solution strength

Ensure the correct lumber loads are placed into the treatment cylinder

Monitor the treatment process and equipment

Perform quality control testing to ensure lumber meets required standards

Assist with maintaining treating equipment and work areas

Follow all safety procedures and chemical-handling requirements

Assist with hazardous waste-related duties as required, including cleaning and inspections

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Comfortable working around chemicals and treated lumber

Able to work in a production environment

Willingness to learn equipment and treatment processes

Previous manufacturing, production, lumber, or warehouse experience is a plus

TRAINING PROVIDED:

New employees will complete required training covering hazardous waste handling, waste regulations, labeling, storage, drip pad procedures, and other safety requirements.
