Treatment Nurse, LVN - Full-Time

Freedom Village Healthcare Center has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Treatment Nurse to join our team!

Job Responsibilities

• Perform wound care and treatments as ordered by physicians or nurse practitioners.
• Assess and document skin integrity and wound progression.
• Monitor residents for signs of infection, complications, or changes in condition.
• Maintain treatment records and ensure timely completion of physician orders.
• Participate in wound rounds and care planning meetings as assigned.
• Observe and report changes in resident physical, mental, and emotional conditions.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed.
• Respond to resident and family concerns professionally and promptly.
• Ensure resident rights, dignity, privacy, and confidentiality are maintained.
• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Maintain treatment records, progress notes, incident reports, and physician communications.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Current license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse in California.
• Current CPR.
• Two plus years of experience as a Treatment Nurse.
• Clinical skills, bedside manner, infection control, nursing skills, physiological knowledge, administering medication, medical teamwork, multi-tasking, listening, verbal communication, health promotion and maintenance.

Schedule:

Full-time: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 9:00AM - 5:30PM

Salary:

$41.00 - $44.00 per hour DOE
