Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Tricentis Quality Engineer – QE DevOps Engineer to join our team. The Quality Engineer – QE Ops will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and operational readiness of software through automation-first testing and integration with DevOps practices. This role will focus on building, integrating, and maintaining automated test capabilities within CI/CD pipelines to support continuous quality, security, and compliance throughout the software development lifecycle.

The Tricentis Quality Engineer – QE DevOps Engineer will work closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to operationalize quality through TestOps practices and autonomous pipeline execution.

Responsibilities (Tricentis Quality Engineer – QE DevOps Engineer)
  • Design, document, and execute automated test solutions aligned with project requirements and technical specifications following SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks for API, integration, UI, and regression testing using enterprise-approved automation tools.
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) to support autonomous execution and release readiness.
  • Implement and maintain quality gates, pipeline triggers, and validations in alignment with DevSecOps pipeline standards.
  • Execute and support shift-left testing practices including API, contract, and data validation testing.
  • Monitor automated test execution across environments (SIT, UAT, Pre-Prod), analyze failures, and improve test reliability.
  • Log, track, and analyze defects and pipeline execution issues, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Validate security, performance, and compliance requirements through pipeline-integrated testing.
  • Publish standardized test execution reports, logs, and metrics to enterprise reporting platforms to support release decisions.
  • Continuously optimize test processes through TestOps practices, CI/CD integration, and automation ROI improvements.

Required Skills and Technologies (Tricentis Quality Engineer – QE DevOps Engineer)
  • Strong experience with the Tricentis suite of products (especially Tosca and QTest).
  • Experience with BrowserStack
  • Experience with NeoLoad is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks for API, UI, and regression testing.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and DevSecOps practices, including quality gates, pipeline triggers, and shift-left testing.
  • Knowledge of static and dynamic security testing (SAST/DAST) is a plus.
  • Experience in test reporting, observability, and metrics publication.
  • Healthcare domain experience is desirable but not required.

Qualifications (Tricentis Quality Engineer – QE DevOps Engineer)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in QA automation and DevOps-integrated testing environments.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodology, and automation-first testing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
