Our company is seeking a dedicated and reliable Truck Driver with a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Manual Endorsement to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our job sites.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company trucks to transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and schedule maintenance to ensure trucks are in good working condition.
- Load and unload construction materials and deliver equipment, as needed.
- Maintain clear and accurate log of deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with supervisor to coordinate deliveries.
- Ensure loads are secured properly for safe transportation.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Manual Endorsement,
- Proven work experience as a Truck Driver (5 years)
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Knowledge of construction materials
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)
- Effective communication skills and a commitment to safety
