Location

This role is based in Concord, New Hampshire. The position is expected to have in-office presence, with flexibility depending on experience, performance, and firm needs.

Note

Qualified candidates must be admitted to practice in New Hampshire and have Trust & Estate experience, including estate planning document drafting.

Job Description

  • Draft a full range of estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related planning documents.
  • Advise clients on estate planning, trust administration, probate, charitable planning, and business succession planning.
  • Assist with federal estate and gift tax issues connected to estate planning and administration.
  • Work directly with clients, attorneys, paralegals, and other professionals to move matters forward efficiently.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare clear, practical written work product.
  • Support families, fiduciaries, business owners, and individuals through important planning and administration decisions.
  • Participate in a collegial practice environment with mentoring, client contact, and business development support.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of Trust & Estate experience.
  • New Hampshire Bar admission required.
  • Experience drafting estate planning documents required.
  • Probate and trust administration experience preferred.
  • Business succession planning and charitable planning experience preferred.
  • Federal estate and gift tax familiarity preferred.
  • Strong research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, staff, clients, and outside advisors.
