A highly respected and collegial Connecticut law firm is seeking two Trusts & Estates attorneys to join its growing practice in either Hartford or New Haven.

The firm is hiring:

  • An early-career attorney with at least one year of estate planning and/or estate administration experience
  • A mid-level or senior attorney with at least five years of trusts & estates experience and the ability to manage matters with increasing independence

The practice represents individuals, families, fiduciaries, business owners, and high-net-worth clients in a broad range of estate planning and estate and trust administration matters. Representative Responsibilities

  • Drafting sophisticated estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives
  • Administering estates and trusts, including probate proceedings and fiduciary accountings
  • Advising clients regarding estate, gift, and income tax considerations
  • Communicating directly with clients, beneficiaries, and fiduciaries
  • Collaborating with colleagues on complex planning and administration matters

  • Familiarity with Connecticut probate procedures and fiduciary matters

  • Connecticut Bar admission or eligibility for admission upon hire
