A boutique law firm in downtown Chicago is seeking an attorney with 2–5+ years of experience in tax planning, estate planning, private wealth management, or a related practice area to join its growing team. The firm is comprised of a select group of partners, attorneys, tax professionals, and support staff who work collaboratively to deliver sophisticated planning solutions for high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners.

Responsibilities
- Advise high-net-worth individuals and families on advanced estate, gift, and income tax planning strategies
- Draft and implement sophisticated estate planning documents, including trusts, wills, family entities, and related structures
- Counsel business owners on succession planning, wealth transfer, and tax-efficient ownership strategies
- Collaborate with the firm's attorneys and tax professionals on integrated planning solutions
- Review existing plans and recommend strategies based on changing tax laws and client goals
- Maintain strong client relationships through responsive, high-touch service
- Participate in business development and long-term practice growth initiatives
Qualifications
- J.D. with active Illinois Bar license in good standing (or ability to waive in if applicable)
- 2–5+ years of experience in tax planning, estate planning, private wealth, or a closely related area
- Strong knowledge of estate, gift, income, and wealth transfer planning concepts
- Experience working with high-net-worth or closely held business clients strongly preferred
- Excellent drafting, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating in a team setting
