Position Summary:
In collaboration with accounting faculty instruction, the accounting tutor will increase student learning of financial and managerial accounting concepts. The Accounting Tutor will assist students with coursework, assignments and exam preparation for financial and managerial accounting taught in AC-224 and AC-225.

Essential Functions:
-Facilitate student learning of financial and managerial accounting concepts by assisting students with assignments, projects and test preparation. This position will meet in the designated computer labs on campus and on occasion schedule Zoom sessions for students.
-This position will share the computer lab with other Brenneman School of Business data analytics tutors that provide support for tutoring for the core business courses. Tutors will work with the Tutoring Coordinator to set up lab scheduling, which is flexible to accommodate lab tutor class schedules.
-Monitor the designated computer labs during the assigned weekday and weekend hours.
-Maintain a log of students using the lab during assigned lab hours.
-Work a regular set of weekly hours (2-6 hours per week).
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must have an overall Washburn GPA of 3.0 or better.
-Successfully completed AC-224 and AC-225 with a grade A or B.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hourly, Mon. - Fri.
