Position Summary:
Provides tutoring to individuals and small groups of students currently enrolled in a Biology course at Washburn University.

Essential Functions:
Assist students in improving academic achievement.
Supports students by reviewing and clarifying learning problems.
Other assistance might include reviewing class material, notes and text, reviewing test questions, and guiding students through homework and/or take home quizzes.
Assist course instructor as needed.
Must follow the Academic Impropriety policy.
Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled at Washburn University
Grade of “B” or better in course(s) to be tutored, or minimum 3.5 overall GPA in Biology courses, or recommendation of Biology faculty member.
Flexible hours and a willingness to substitute for other tutors if needed
